The Designer Range
Many anglers use carryalls these days when even a large rucksackisn’t enough to haul or your gear, clothes, cooking equipment, etc, when you intend fishing for more than a day. Indeed, many anglersprefer a large carryall to a rucksack for short sessions.
So popular have they become that most tackle manufacturers are nowsupplying them in ever increasing ranges and sizes, but this newDesigner Range from Shimano sets new standards of quality.
The Designer Range was launched last year and the response wasincredible, according to Shimano. The range features a revolutionary, lightweight, non-woven material that incorporates attractive designerlogos. It is water and dirt resistant and can be cleaned by simplywiping with a wet cloth.
For added luxury all the range are fully lined with black nylonemblazoned with a subtle Shimano pattern.
Special attention has been made to both carry straps and handleswith extra width and additional padding for ultimate comfort whenfully loaded. All zips are top quality with neat ‘ShimanoEngineering’ badged zip pullers as a finishing touch.
This Large Carryall in the range has a detachable, adjustableshoulder strap and removable cushion wrap handle grip.
The main compartment is fully zipped and spacious. There are alsotwo fully zipped end pockets, two front pockets and one large,mesh-covered pocket. A neat touch is the zipped base compartmentwhere a towel is Velcroed in and stowed away.
A comment from my wife upon seeing it for the first time sums upmy own thoughts nicely. She said, “you’re not using that for fishing,it’s too good for that mucky game!”
But of course she didn’t take into account the fact that nothingis too good for fishing. Most non-fishing women just don’t understandthe finer points of life.
There are six bags in the range. A Jumbo Carryall, Large Carryall, and Medium Carryall, a Lure Bag, Multi-Purpose Bag and a Game Bag.The range also includes six rod holdalls and a Match Vest.
