SMARTBaiT has been designed as a complete bait system. All products in the range complement each other in terms of the attractants and feeding stimulants used. This enables you to create one strong feeding signal in the water, rather than lots of conflicting and confusing signals from different brands and flavours of hook bait and groundbait.

Years of dedicated research and development has gone into the development of the SMARTBaiT products with the sole intention of developing the next generation of bait. We believe we have succeeded in doing this and hundreds of happy customers have told us the same.


What is it?
SMARTBaiT is a fishing bait system made up of a range of complementary Hook Baits and Dry Powder Mixes.

Hook Baits
Whilst the individual products in the SMARTBaiT range are highly effective on their own, they have been optimised to work best when used together as part of the SMARTBaiT system.

Active Groundbait – Complements QB hook baits, highly active


QBs – Soft, fibrous hook baits that stay on the hook
Grubs – Unique worm-shaped baits packed with SMARTBaiT technology.

The flavours, attractants and feeding stimulants used in the SMARTBaiT dry powder base mixes have been matched to those in the hook baits.

When I first laid eyes on SMARTBaiT my first thought was that if as much thought had gone into product as has gone into the packaging then SMARTBaiT are on a winner.

The packaging is smart, strong, and highly convenient. The re-sealable packs used for the hookbaits could make bait boxes redundant. Very impressive.


Soft, yet tough

Although I have yet to use the baits and groundbaits extensively my few short sessions using it leave me with every reason to believe the bait is, indeed, as good as the packaging. The hookbaits are soft, yet tough, and do withstand forceful casts. The flavours are strong and appealing, and the shape is sensible.

The groundbait mixes well to any type of mix you prefer, either very wet or very dry and anything in between. It disperses well and begins to explode as soon as it hits the surface, and you can tell it continues to be active as it lies on the bottom, for the surface ‘fizzes’ for some time after a ball of it is introduced.

I caught fish while using SMARTBaiT while other anglers were struggling. Whether that was due entirely to SMARTBaiT is open to conjecture, but it certainly left me wanting more.

SMARTBaiT is a typical modern bait concept, only this time it’s been taken to the ‘nth degree. It’s got to be a winner.
