YATELEY 2002
6th/7th/8th September
If you enjoy fishing, a good social, meeting like-minded anglers, fishing waters that give you the chance of improving your personal best, and more importantly raising money for Charity, then this is the event for you.
£ 50,000
Yes, that’s right £ 50,000 is the target we aim to reach this year. We currently stand a little short of £ 40,000, but with your help we intend to break the £ 50,000 barrier this year.
At the same event last year, 104 anglers raised over £ 11,000. If we can exceed that this year, then our target will be reached. The result will be a very happy Macmillan Cancer Relief, very happy organizers, and hopefully good press for all sponsors of the event.
Who Should and Can Attend?
Anybody who enjoys coarse fishing. Thanks to RMC who have donated a vast majority of the lakes on the Yateley Complex, there should be a lake available to suit all coarse angling disciplines, from the dedicated specimen hunter (Carp, Catfish, Tench, Bream, record Crucian Carp) through to the pleasure angler happy just to get a bend in his rod.
The atmosphere at Stoney and Friends Fish-In’s is always very friendly, with ‘known’ anglers happily mixing and freely passing on advice to the less experienced.
