Well, having previous experience of the petrol double burner and a small gas double burner I saw this one in my local tackle shop. I thought it would be ideal for Sue and myself, as we invariably fish together, and our experience with the other two types of cooker mentioned was pretty grim.
The small double gas burner I mentioned worked fine, except that you could only properly put on one pot or pan at a time, which had a tendency to slide off, depositing your food onto the ground. I was immediately impressed by the Sunngas Cooker, which has two fairly substantial hobs and a built-in stand.
The whole thing folds to about 1.5/2 inches deep once the gas bottles are unscrewed, so it is easy to transport.
I like the very controllable gas supply that is easily achieved by turning the knob on the front, which also allows you to use the self-igniters that are fitted underneath the cooker. No more soggy matches or burning your fingers when you light it.
I am very impressed and I consider it good value for money.
A number of people have already asked about this little piece of kit, including one of our members who saw a picture of it in the Catfish Fish-in thread on the forum.
