Although the fishing has been on the slow side the occasional fish has been taken from Horton over the past week including the little caught Big Grey Mirror by Black Country angler Craig Welch, who is one of the most consistent Horton anglers.
Craig took the carp at a spawned-out weight of 28lb 4oz.
Church Lake also recently produced ‘Tetley’s Common’, again at a spawned-out weight of 32lb 12oz. The captor was Tony Parker, and the fish was netted from the Weedy Bay.
