“This brand new show is the biggest angling showcase ever to be held in Kent. The Kent Angling Show on November 10-11th November 2012, promises to bring together all the strands of this fantastic sport under one roof.
Kent Angling Show, has been taken over by the guys behind the Brentwood Show.
It’s completely free entry, free goody bags from major manufacturers, holiday give-aways, free magazines, free tubs of bait for the kids. Great talks and slideshows from anglers such as Rob Maylin, Terry Dempsey and many others.
It is now 3 times the size of the old show and even bigger than Brentwood! Crammed full of manufacturers, retailers, leading book publishers, bait companies, holiday companies.
From Nash Tackle’s biggest presence at any UK show, Freespirit’s biggest stand, Eric’s Angling – 190 sq mtrs, even our friends at The Tackle Box are on board with 200 sq mtrs crammed with bespoke manufacturers. To put this into perspective, for those who have previously been to the Brentwood Show, all of the mentioned stands are bigger than the Nash stand at Brentwood!
Freespirit and Nash Tackle have a casting arena with tuition and the choice of trying out there complete range, Mark Hutchinson and Terry Edmonds heading up their respective companies.
We have 3 book launches, headed up by Kevin Nash ‘The Demon Eye’ and Pete Springate ‘Carp Side of The Moon’, so make sure you get a signed copy. Terry Dempsey’s- Urban Myth has been delayed but he will be at the show taking orders and and you will be the first to get a copy in the next week or so and he will still be doing a different 45 min talk each day- surely worth coming both days for alone.
With ample room we have added a coarse, sea and game area, for those interested but the main thrust is purely carp and coarse.
We have made a point of getting products, which are new, exciting and never seen at shows before, the first showing of the Navitas range – South African bivvies – a different concept.
Plus some old favourites are returning, with the likes of Muddy Waters and others. Have you ever seen Minn Kota at a show before- well you have now!
Make sure you come and immerse yourself in everything angling, with Free Entry it’s an unbelievable day out. With plenty to marvel at, experts and celebrities to chat to and plenty of show only bargains to get for Christmas.
First 500 each day get a free magazine; there are cash machines on site and at the main entrance to the first hall! Not only do you have free entry and parking but we endeavour to keep food and beverage prices at low prices too – beer @ £2.50 a pint!
Entry times are Saturday 9-4, Sunday 9-3.

The show is at the Kent Event Centre, and is only 25mins from the M25. Come off at Jct 3 onto the M20. Exit the motorway at Jct 7 and follow signs to Sittingbourne and Sheerness A249. The Kent Showground is clearly marked, and is approximately 2 miles from the junction.
From the M2 motorway, exit at Jct 5, signposted Maidstone A249. The Showground is approximately 5 miles further on. To locate on a map, and to program a Sat Nav, the postcode is ME14 3JF.”
