Mark Sinclaire who we reported catching the 36lb fish has added a 29.02 mirror to his catch.Paul Pitcher from Norfolk fished pineapple pop-ups to catch the ‘Big Plated’ mirror at 39.08. It was a personal best for Paul who also caught mirrors of 29lb and 23.08.
Southamptons Ian Kilby fished Activ 8 Boilies on a one night session to catch mirrors of 31lb, 28lb, 21lb, 18lb and commons of 23lb and 18lb.
Fishing with maize, Mark Harrison from Derbyshire caught two mirrors of 29.12 and 19lb, a common of 20.10 and a 9.03 tench.
Also from Derbyshire is Darren Quinn who fishing the same method as Mark caught a mirror of 29.01.
Catching a P.B. is Kev Caswell from Bristol who caught a 31.10 mirror. Kev who fished with Mainline baits also caught a second mirror of 28lb.
Nottingham angler Darren Rogers fished corn to catch a linear scaled mirror of 28.05 which was a P.B. for him. He followed this catch with another mirror of 26.10.
Another angler catching a P.B. is Mark Thomas from Walsall who caught a 30.07 common on a popped up particle bait.
Lee Collins is back and this time with two angling pupils to share in Lee’s Carping Experience Tutorials. Keith Jones and Eddie Thompson from Bromsgrove both badly wanted to beat their previous personal bests of 15lb and already they have done so – Keith has caught a ghost carp of 21.09 and Eddie a common of 16.04. We are sure there is more to come for the wind has changed and fish are showing in front of the them. Lee, by the way, caught a 21.06 catfish. There was a real mixed bag for Barry Yeomans from Derbyshire when he fished maize over pellets. He had set up to catch carp so we don’t know if he was disappointed when he caught a tench of 8lb, a catfish of 15.08 and a 14,04 bream The carp did oblige and he caught a 20.02 mirror before leaving for home.
Fishing with popped up particles, Doug Williams from Ipswich caught two mirrors of 28lb and 26lb + two commons of 20.12 and 18lb.
Swindon’s Dave Barton has broken the lake record with a stunning common of 41.04. It is a personal best for Dave who fished maggots just three feet from the bank. Well done Dave!This common has not come as a surprise we have been expecting one of this size – observations from Lee Collins earlier this week were that he estimated that there are over 30 thirty pound fish in the water and at least five of these were commons. This is a different fish from the high thirty that was caught recently.

Richard Meller from Crewe caught a 26.08 linear scaled mirror on popped up corn,Owen Cartwright from Bicester, Oxfordshire fished popped up boilie to catch a 25lb common.Another Oxfordshire angler, Barry Davis, from Tame caught mirrors of 21.12 and 26lb on Dynamite Boilies.
David Cameron from Grove Fished pellet and corn to catch a personal best 28.02 mirror.
Ashley Haines from Wolverhampton fished pellet to catch two bream of 13.05 and 11.06.
Andy Kirk from Goole fished Richworth Ultra – Plex Boilies to catch a personal best 33.06 mirror carp.
Glynn Maclean from Widnes caught a 33.01 personal best mirror and a 26lb common when he fished pop-up boilies along with PVA bags.
Shaun Peattie from Gloucestershire caught a personal best common carp of 35lb when he fished with Dynamite Bait Boilies.
Frank Warwick who was down to cover a magazine feature with his pal Mark Dowd caught mirrors of 28.02, 26.12, 22.12, 18lb, 16lb, a 21.14 common and a bream of 11.14. Frank fished with yellow, hand made boilies and corn over a spicey prawn mix. Mark who couldn’t raise a bite in the next swim went off stalking with corn and caught a linear scaled mirror of 32.02 and a 16lb common.

Fishing with Richworth Multi-Plex Sid Holmes has caught a 30.07 ghost carp
MANOR FARM LAKE
Fishing for tench with maggot feeder, Dai Gribble from Stafford has caught no less than 24 of them. The biggest of the catch weighed 8.13 and there were another three fish over 7lb – all were caught in a 48 hour session.
Ken Hewitt fished particles over a spod mix to catch eleven double figure carp, two commons of 24.15 and 23.13 and a 27.06 mirror carp.
OXLEASE LAKE
Jamie Manno from Cardiff fished sweetcorn to catch a personal best mirror of 25.03.A fourteen year old, whose name we didn’t get, spent his first night on the water without his Dad and caught a 16lb mirror which beat his previous PB by 3lb. He then went on to catch a thirty. Well done!
Fishing particles – Ken Butler from Brackley caught four doubles and a personal best of 29lb. Ken’s fish were all mirror carp and his previous P.B. weighed 16lb.
Catching 13 carp up to 25.08 is Martin Small from Oakley who fished with fake corn.
Fishing with maggots over pellet in just a 24 hour session John Barnes from East London caught 10 carp to 16.08 and 9 tench to 9.02
Coventry’s Colin Balchin fished maggot over spodded pellet and maggots to catch 21 carp to 24.08.
Lee Wood from Kettering on his first trip to the water caught a mirror of 26lb. It was a PB for Lee who fished with Matrix Premium Baits.
Fishing boilies with the stick rig, Paul Davvill from High Wycombe caught a mirror of 28.06
Fishing at 80 yards range with boilies and PVA bags, Mark Twaite from Nottingham caught six double figure carp and two twenties of 26lb & 24.04.
Colin Balchin ended his 48 hour session [reported earlier] with a total of 33 carp. The biggest weighed 27.10.
