Shaun Young from Stoke caught mirrors of 30.06, 30.12 and 18.02 when he fished 10ml spicey prawn boilies at 50 yards over a spod mix. He then added another two carp – a fully scaled mirror of 31lb and another mirror of 24.02 on Frank Warwick Wafter Baits after Frank suggested that he fished these over his baited area.
Lee Collins on a tutorial with Daniel Brackley from Rugby has put his pupil onto the carp. So far Daniel has caught mirror carp of 21.08 and 17.09 and Lee has caught two doubles himself. Both are fishing Mainline Activ Pineapple boilies over spodded pellets at approximately 60 yards range.

Worcester’s Adam Toal has caught five carp including four twenties to 25.01. Adam is fishing particles over Carp Company hemp and pellets at 85 yards.
Dan Patrick, fishing the shallows, caught 10 carp including fish of 31lb, 30.14 and 29.12. Dan fished with 10mm boilies along with PVA bags containing pellets.
Dave Kerr from Uxbridge was more than pleased when fishing home made fishmeal boilies over a spod mix at 60 yards range he caught a personal best 37.08 mirror carp.
Fishing particles over a scattering of pellets in the margins, Stuart Roper, who claimed the front page of this years brochure with the Big Plated Mirror, has caught mirror carp of 32.10 and 21.07 plus a common of 23.04.
On his first visit to the water Daniel Davey from Wiltshire has caught a 23.08 common off the surface.

Dave Croston from St. Helens caught eight carp by fishing fluoro pop-ups over a spod mix at 40 yards range. Included in Dave’s catch was a 32.10 mirror, a 27lb ghost carp, a 25.02 common and three smaller twenties.
Steve Barnes from Leicester caught common carp of 25.02 and 22.11, mirrors of 17.05 and 17.09 plus a 28lb catfish when he fished pineapple pop-ups over maggots at 40 yards range.
Leicestershire’s Dean Martin caught mirrors of 21.08 and 19.15 plus a common of 22.12 when he fished at 30 yards with pineapple pop-ups and pellets in PVA bags.
HARDWICK LAKE
Dom Spalding from Carterton caught three twenty pound mirrors and a 27lb common which was the biggest fish when he moved round casting to rolling fish. Dom fished with Richworth Multi-Plex and pellets in bags.
Og the Wok has paid us a visit and while stalking in the margins has winkled out a 38.08 common carp. Og fished with Richworth Ultra – Plex.
A London angler known as Spence has caught a 33.06 linear scaled mirror by fishing B5 Boilies in the margins.

Danny Regan on his first visit to the water caught commons of 30.04 and 21.08. Danny who is from East Ham, London fished home made boilies over chopped boilies in the margins.
GAUNTS LAKE
Firefighter, Paul Honey, from Oxfordshire was in a bit of a daze after catching a personal best mirror of 41.01 – we are told that after catching the big fish he attempted to make a brew three times and never got beyond filling the kettle! The fish is the Plated Mirror and a new forty for the water. Last year there were two other forties caught and another that came very close – all different fish. Paul caught his fish by fishing Richworth Multiplex Boilies over chopped boilies at 20 yards. Well done Paul!
YEOMENS LAKE
Barry Rogers from Croydon caught a new Yeomans Lake record when he caught a mirror carp of 35.08. Barry fished M S Boilies in the margins.
Didcot Angling Centre’s Clive Turner caught a 27.12 mirror when he fished Richworth Comp-Plex Boilies at 50 yards
UNITY LAKE
Despite having to attend one of Alvin Roy’s infamous BBQ’s, Alan [Drop Back] Davidson from Hertfordshire managed to catch mirrors of 27.12 and 25.12. Alan fished with Mainline Activ pineapple boilies and bags at 60 yards. Also attending the BBQ where Alvin served tiger prawns, spicy chicken legs. Aberdeen Angus beef burgers and superb sausages were the Linear Dog Catcher, Head Bailiff Roy Parsons and Fishery Manager Len Gurd. Alvin didn’t have a run but we are told that he no longer puts bait on the hook.
Linear Bailiff Darren Hemmings caught a double linear scaled mirror of 33lb plus two doubles when he fished Richworth Ultra-Plex over spodded pellets at 90 yards.
MANOR FARM LAKE
Jon Finch has caught six mirrors to 26.10 by fishing Bankside Bloodworm Boilies over spodded Bankside Grubber Pellets at 100 yards. He ended up with a total of eleven carp adding mirrors of 36.04 and 29lb to his list.
Fishing for the tench with the maggot feeder at 15 yards, Dia Cyribble caught 16 of them with the biggest fish weighing 8.11.
Andy Boden from Nuneaton has caught a personal best 36lb mirror on a Frank Warwick Pineapple bottom bait fished over a particle mix at 50 yards range. The big mirror was caught on a rig given to Andy by Frank who was on the lake yesterday.
Catching another big mirror and personal best is Kevin Lawrence from Lincoln who by fishing at 60 yards with Frank Warwick Spicy Prawn and Shrimp Boilies over spodded pellets and chopped boilies has caught a fish of 40.08. The fish is assumed to be ‘Cut Tail’ but we will not know until we see the pictures.
John Pearbridge whose PB was 17.05 before he made his first visit to the water caught a 32.01 mirror by fishing sweetcorn in the margins.
OXLEASE LAKE
Spud Sims from Solihull fished Fusion Boilies and pellets in bags to catch eight carp to 26.14.
Wiltshire’s Ian Palmer caught five mirrors to 29.07 by fishing at 60 yards with pineapple pop-ups along with pellets in bags.
Local Oxford angler, Andy Hall, caught 12 carp [including four twenties] to 27lb. The big mirror was a personal best for Andy who fished Mainline single hook baits at 60 yards.
Lee Betteridge from Chinnor has caught mirrors of 30.04, 27.10 and 20.04 along with seven other carp most of which were doubles. He is fishing very small boilies over pellets.
Preston’s Mark Neill has caught a PB mirror of 32.12 on a single Activ M8 Boilie cast to a rolling fish in the margins.
On his first visit to the water Garry Knowles caught a personal best 31lb carp. Gary fished plum boilies as a single hook bait to attract the big mirror.
Nick Raynor from Basildon in Essex caught five twenties and a double by fishing Nash Boilies over spodded hemp and pellets at 85 yards. Four of the twenties weighed 27.10, 27.02, 26.02 and 24lb. The biggest of these was a PB for Nick.
Manchester’s Mark Cosgrove on his first visit to the water caught a personal best mirror of 26.08. It didn’t take long for Mark to beat this PB with another of 31.08. Mark fished particles over a spod mix at 30 yards.
Darren Wilson from Birmingham caught five mirrors to 25.12 when he fished Black Country Boilies over a spod mix at 90 yards.
Mark Dowd from Cheshire fished Frank Warwick Shrimp and Spicy Prawn Boilies over a spod mix at 90 yards to catch a 31.08 mirror.
Stewart Harman from Yateley has caught five mirrors with the two biggest weighing 28lb and 26.10. All were caught on Activ 8 Boilies fished with pellet filled PVA bags at 60 yards.
Mike Dickson from Cumbria caught a personal best mirror carp of 27.07 when he fished Mainline Proactive Pineapple Boilies over Bankside Grubber Pellets at a distance of 30 yards.
Also catching a PB is Ryan Atkins from Hertfordshire who caught a 20.12 linear scaled mirror by fishing particle hook baits with PVA bags containing pellets at 50 yards range.
Another angler fishing at 50 yards is Chris Angel from Sheffield who caught two carp to 26.04 when he fished Dynamite Meat & Marine Boilies over pellets.
Mike Dickson From Cumbria fished with Mainline Pro-Active Pop-Ups and PVA bags containing Bankside Grubber Pellets at 50 yards range to catch five mirror carp. The biggest carp, a fish of 27.07 was a personal best for Mike who also caught a 25.12.
Northern angler Lee Hesketh caught a 31.02 mirror when he fished at 40 yards with 14ml Trigga Boilies along with micro pellets soaked in bloodworm.
