Shimano’s Nick Hellieur spent a night on the water to catch a beautiful fully scaled mirror of 21.04.
HUNTS CORNER LAKE
Jason Rudge from nearby Standlake used Richworth Multiplex boilies on the hook and crushed boilies and pellets in PVA bags to catch a 27.04 common. This was a P.B. UK common for Jason.
ST JOHNS LAKE
Terry Evans on his first visit from Essex caught a perfect common of 19.10 on a snowman rig fished at 70 yards.
Andy Pickering from Stoke was pleased to catch the carp known as the Star Burst Mirror at the weekend. Andy was fishing with his mate Gareth Jones who caught six carp of 22.07, 26.01, 18.05 and 16.00 – all mirrors. Plus two commons of 16.07 and 16.03. All the fish were caught on Solar Pop-ups fished as single hook baits – at 50 yards. wo commons of 26.08 and 24.00.
