HARDWICK LAKE
Chris Blunt is back again and finding the big un’s. Chris, who is a mature student studying Fishery Management at Sparsholt College and is at Linear for work experience, spent the night on the water and caught a fully scaled mirror of 33.08. He was with Linear for the same reasons last year and caught several good fish from different waters; see our brochure – it looks like he’s continuing where he left off.
ST JOHNS LAKE
Peter Swinton from Leicester caught two mirrors of 22.03 and 18.01 this morning.
YEOMANS LAKE
Tench very active, carp to 19lb reported and a bream of 10.10.
UNITY LAKE
Stuart Matthews found the tench very active at the weekend. In two days he caught 22 to 9.02.
GAUNTS LAKE
Both Mac, the bailiff, and Ron Buss report losing very big fish from the water last weekend. Amongst the larger fish reported from the water at that time were two mirror carp over 29lb and a 33.
