Fishing sweet boilies with pellets in PVA bags at 70 yards resulted in the capture of a 26.06 common for Steve Wikinson.
Fishing from the first swim, Dave Bernabe from West London caught a 29lb mirror. Dave was using Richworth Bioplex Boilies soaked in Corn Steep Liquor.
Tench fishing with red maggots and feeder, Paul Hawkins from Wantage caught fish of 6.05, 5.14, 5..04 plus two others over 4lb.
Andy Little popped down for a few hours with the Anglers Mail editor, Roy Westwood, to do a feature on tench and fishing with Richworth Mini Tuti Fruti boilies he caught fish of 7.05 and 5.08.
Mark Haseldon and Neil Foster, both from Chester, contacted Carp Talk to ask how to go about fishing at Linear. Both anlers are now over the moon about their decision to send a week on the water. In their first 24 hours Mark has caught mirror carp of 30.04 [a PB] and commons of 24.08 [a PB] and 22lb. Neil has also seen action with a PB mirror of 31.08. Both anglers are spodding heavily with hemp and pellets from Dynamite Baits and using boilies on the hook.
HUNTS CORNER LAKE
Paul Ramsey from Malden in Surrey caught a 31.08 mirror on particles at the weekend.

Steve Honeywood caught a 23.10 common this morning.
HARDWICK LAKE
On his first visit to the water, David Messulam from Liverpool caught a personal best carp of 35.04. The fish, a fully scaled mirror, was caught from the Smiths Pool side of Hardwick Lake on a cranberry flavoured bottom bait with just a few free offerings scattered around it. Dave also caught a mirror of 14lb. Linear regular, Kirk Raper, from Harrow Middlesex fished particles to catch two mirrors of 34.02 and 20lb, plus a 17.04 common.
