GAUNTS LAKE
Salisbury’s, Mick Bull caught a 33.10 mirror on particle baits and Dave Watson also fishing particles in the margins caught a 28.10 mirror.
The carp are now spawning (Thursday, 20th June).
UNITY LAKE
Ivor Peachy spodded particles and fished a boilie hook-bait to catch a PB ghost carp of 27.02.
Chris Blunt caught a ghost carp of 23.08.
HARDWICK LAKE
Ben Edge from Stoke on Trent caught a PB mirror of 27.06 on boilies.
Gary Bearman from Luton fished DT Juicy Peach Boilies to catch commons of 26.00 and 15.08.
Martin Clarke from Luton caught eight carp which included six doubles and two twenties to 25lb using Solar Club Mix and PVA bags with hemp and pellets.
ST JOHNS LAKE
Watford’s Rachel Smith caught a trio of 20lb mirrors on particle baits. The fish weighed 25.08, 21.02 and 25.14.
A two day session over the weekend produced a remarkable catch for Dave Abrahams of Burnley. Fishing Pedigree Chum on the surface Dave caught the following: Mirrors – 30.08, 26.10, 25.10, 22.12, 20.03, 19.08, 18.11, 17.05, 15.04, 14.04, 13.10, 12.12.Commons – 26.13, 21.00, 17.08, 15.03, 14.08, 14.06, 13.08, 10.06. Leathers – 19.11 and 15.14.
A TOTAL OF 22 FISH – Well done Dave!!
Jack Drury has caught a mirror of 27.14 and a common of 25.04.Chester’s David Sampson is fishing the margins with maggots and has caught two mirrors of 26.04 and 17.01 plus a common of 17.00.
MANOR FARM LAKE
Richard Capper fished sweetcorn in the margins to catch a common of 20.11 and Steve Jones from Chester fished Activ-8 over pellets to catch a mirror of 26.14.
