Hinders of Swindon man, Mike Winstone caught a 25.12 and two double figure mirrors fishing with Hinders boilies over wet & dry mix.Malc Bennett from Rotherham experienced a tremendous battle with a 53.02 catfish that picked up his tiger nut intented for carp.Jack Eli caught a 25.02 mirror and Jack Drury caught another of 25lb when they fished particles in PVA stockings. Both of the Jacks are from Bournmouth.Banbury’s Ian Gibbard fished with Trigga pop-ups to catch a mirror of 25.12 and James Pepperdy from Lancashires choice of boilie was scopex – he caught a mirror of 26.06.
HUNTS CORNER LAKE
Adam Cooper from Acle near Norwich caught a 26lb mirror on boilies and a 12lb fish on paste. Both baits were fished over a spodded area.
YEOMANS LAKE
Bristols Brian Hursley caught a 29.02 common from the water yesterday. The carp picked up one of Brian’s Mike Wilmotts B5 Essential Products boilies.
UNITY LAKE
Richworth Consultant, Mickey Hills has been quietly catching the carp again. During his latest session Mickey caught eight fish to over 28lb. the biggest carp was one of the lakes ghosties and that would be a new record ghost carp for the water except that we are told that Mickey caught one of over 30lbs last year?
Ron Buss caught a mirror of 23lb plus on Richworth Bio-Plex.
GAUNTS LAKE
On just his second visit to the water, Peter Hurst from London’s first Guy Lakes carp was a superb mirror of 36.08.
