Pike fishing starts on all the day ticket waters on October 1st. Linear do not allow livebaits to be taken onto any of their waters but these may be caught from the Linear Lakes for use on those waters.

ST JOHNS LAKE
James Akins from Wolverhampton caught a 24.01 common on a Fluoro Pop-Up fished with PVA stocking and pellets.
Fishing close to the margins and using particles with PVA bags, Kyle Thomas from Abingdon caught two common carp of 22.04 and 22.06 along with a mirror of 19.14.
John Scott [Tango] from Witham in Essex has found the fish again. After the superb 35lb plus mirror we reported him catching recently he is back amongst them with mirrors of 29lb, 26.02, 21.03 20lb and two doubles. John is fishing at short range off the shallows using Bird Seed Boilies over spodded hemp and pellets.
Peter Robertshaw, who is a bailiff at the Elstow Pits, decided to give the Bedfordshire (his home county) waters a rest. Fishing particles at 70 yards, over spodded hemp and pellets Peter wanted to catch his first St Johns twenty…he did better than that by catching mirrors of 30.06, 23.08, 20.09 and three doubles- well done Peter.
YEOMANS LAKE
Ivor Peachy has caught a 22.06 mirror and two doubles.
HARDWICK LAKE
Stoke on Trent’s Paul Rogers fished a Frank Warwick Fluoro Pop-Up to catch a 26lb mirror.
MANOR FARM LAKE
On his first visit to the water Roy Haywood from Hedge End , Southampton caught a PB mirror of 24.02. Roy caught the fish on a Scopex boilie over pellets.
Tony Collins from Plaistow in London used the method to catch a PB mirror carp of 31lb. Tony fished the rig at 40 yards.
Derby’s James Langdon using Liver Boilies also found the bigger mirrors landing fish of 33.01 and 23lb.
UNITY LAKE
On his first visit to the water as a Syndicate member, Doug Franklin caught a 26.02 ghost carp on Richworth Bio-Plex Boilies.
