Nick Helleur is fishing the water with three guests just over from Belgium. Using particle hook baits and a new Dynamite bait that Nick is testing in the Dynamite Stick, Wesley Lagaret caught his first English carp at spot on 35lb. The two other Belgium lads have both caught a fish each – one a double and the other a mid-twenty.

Mick Stebbings who treated himself to a Linear Winter Permit has found the carp. So far he has caught fish of 13.08, 14.08 and 26.02. All the fish were caught on particle fished over a spod mix. Mick finished his session on Manor in grand style with four more mirrors, the best of which weighed 29.12.
UPDATE – Lee Collings a shop fitter from the North of England has been taking advantage of his Linear Winter Permit. Having lost a very big fish on his first winter visit to Manor, Lee returned to catch his first Linear thirty at 30.01. This fish is a new thirty for the water and was caught on the new Mainline M8 boilies which were fished over spodded M8 pellets and hemp, fished at the back of the 70 yard bar from Swim One.

Last week Adrian Eaves from Gloucester caught two fantastic roach on swimfeeder maggot. The fish which weighed 3.15 and 3.03 were amongst a bag of good roach he caught that day. Local angler, John Everard also tried his luck on the water and caught roach of 1.07 and 2.06. The roach appear to be genuine and it is believed that the water may hold a new record.
