Sixteen year old Jamie Taylor more than doubled his personal best when he caught a 32lb mirror. Jamie who comes from Swindon caught the big fish on Peperami.
John [Tango] Scott from Essex fished boilie to catch a common of 34.04, a common of 27lb, a 26lb mirror, six low 20s and four upper doubles.
HARDWICK LAKE
Francis Davies from Oxford reports catching a 27lb mirror on sweetcorn.Frank Warwick found the bream feeding and caught fish of 12.02, 11.14, two nine pounders and a 5.08 tench. He did manage a carp of 19.08.
Fishing Nash pop-ups over pellet Richard House from Bristol has caught a fully scaled mirror of 24lb a mirror of 31.14 and a common of 20.04.
MANOR FARM LAKE
John Price from Wolverhampton fished squid boilies to tempt the mirror known as ‘Cut Tail’ At 39.04 it was a personal best for John.
Northants angler Melvyn Wood on his first session on the water caught a mirror of 25lb, a linear mirror of 28.08 and a third mirror of 30.02. Melvyn fished with Terry Hearn ‘The Source’ Boilies.
Fishing with Terry Hearn ‘The Source’ Boilies, Wolverhamptons Mac Berridge has caught mirrors of 29,12 & 22lb + a common of 23lb.
Kev Hewitt from Bristol fishing with Fluoro pop-ups has caught mirrors of 27 & 30lb.
OXLEASE LAKE
Andy Lees from Wolverhampton fished boilies over an area that had been heavily baited with pellets to catch 12 carp. The biggest were mirrors of 20lb 20.01, 22.06, 22lb and a common of 19.08.
Chris Blunt and his girlfriend Jackie caught 28 mirrors between them using Richworth Multiplex hook baits fished over heavily baited pellet. The catch included three twenties.
