UPDATE – THURSDAY, 14THJUNE
MANOR FARM
The water has started to fish well and Andy Lees is, at present, enjoying a session there by so far landing mirrors of 32.06, 22.01 & 21.08 Andy is fishing Formulae 1 boilies over hemp at 60yards.
Clint Waker from South Wales only arrived last night and by this morning had banked mirrors of 27.04 & 24lb. Clint tempted thefish from the margins in 2 foot of water.
GENERAL
Fish are showing in large numbers on the surface on most lakes and are being caught with floaters.
MONDAY, 11THJUNE
ST. JOHNS POOL
Bob Tyler has been on the water practising for the forthcomingBritish Carp Championship Qualifier which is to be held therethis coming weekend. Amongst Bobs catch was a 40.01 catfish whichpicked up his boilie bait.
Gary Knowles from Manchester fishing at 25 yards range on thebottom has caught three mirror carp between 17 and 19lb and a 24lbcommon. His fishing companion, Phil Brown, also from Manchester hascaught two at 20 and 25lbs.
A few double figure carp have been caught from other areas of thelake.
Tench to 5lb plus are being caught on the maggot feeder.
HARDWICK LAKE/SMITHS POOL
Salisbury’s Nick Bull is back amongst the carp and so far hascaught four to 24lb at short range, fishing on the bottom.
Nick Bull has been back on the water for a long weekend sessionand has caught one of the best multiple catches of carp ever recordedon the Hardwick waters. Despite five fish being lost Nick’s total was24 fish which included four twenties at 20.05, 21.09, 22.09 and 28.10- all mirror carp. The remaining twenty fish which included sevencommons weighed between 14lb and 19.10. All the fish fell to particlebaits fished at short range. WELL DONE NICK!
Richard French from Bicester was also there and managed a24.08.

Open for fishing again at the end ofthis week – June 15th.
St Johns lake will be closed for a2001 British Carp Championship qualifying match on June 15th, 16thand 17th.
