Estate Agent Mark Bowden fished a hair rigged piece of Pepperami at 50 yards to catch a nice mirror carp of 27.04.
A Mr A Robinson from Bishops Storford fished a single hook bait boilie at 20 yards to catch a mirror of 30.12.
Mr C Winstanley from Northwich fished boilies over a spod mix to catch a leather carp of 27.04.
HARDWICK LAKE
Linear’s Head Bailiff, Roy Parsons, caught his personal best pike yesterday. The pike which weighed 24lb took a freelined mackerel bait that Roy had placed near the margins. Other pike to 21.02 were reported caught on deadbait.
OXLEASE LAKE
Andrew Bale from Gloucestershire used Richworth Tutti-Frutti boilies fished with pellets in PVA bags to tempt a mirror of 24,04.
In addition to the carp of over 24lb caught at the weekend and already reported, there were several others caught to double figures. One angler reports catching 12 mirrors.
ELSTOW PIT TWO (NEAR BEDFORD)
There will be vacancies on Pit Two from January 1st 2004.
The deep, 40 acre clay pit is considered to be a challenge by many who have fished there. The water contains approximately 30 carp and two of these are over 40lbs.

GENERAL
A unique opportunity to join the water where Linear Fisheries first began.
This small two acre water lies on the Beds/Bucks border not far from Milton Keynes. The water holds a good head of carp that have been caught to low twenties. It could not be classed has a big carp water.
Less than twenty members are required in total and because there is a 24 hour limit to stay on the water and no bivvies are allowed it would probably suit anglers who live within an easy driving distance.
This is an old fashioned, non-commercial lake that lends itself to close-in fishing/stalking. All applicants will be vetted.
