ELSTOW PIT TWO (NEAR BEDFORD)
There are currently vacancies on pit two and membership is for one year from January 1st. the cost of the yearly permit is £ 150.
The pit is regarded as a challenge water and is 35/40 acres in size. it holds around 30 carp, two of which have been caught at over 42lb in the last year.

OXLEASE LAKE
This lake will be open for day ticket fishing from March 1st this year and Hunts Corner Lake went over to a syndicate water from the first of this month.
ST JOHNS LAKE
Prior to the floods driving the anglers off, the water had started to fish and several carp were caught to low twenties.
MANOR FARM LAKE
Even with the water rising there have been several double figure carp reported to us.
HARDWICK LAKE
Russell Pugh fished deadbaits to capture pike of 25.02 and 13lb.
Right now there is no access to the water because of floods.
HUNTS CORNER LAKE
This lake is no longer available for day ticket fishing but Oxlease Lake will take its place on March 1st this year.
Hunts Lake is now a syndicate water and although membership is full at the moment and is likely to be for some time we will take names for a waiting list.
GENERAL
There is a flood warning in the Oxfordshire area of the site and although there is no danger of Linear losing any fish stocks many of the swims are now under water and it is not advisable to pay us a visit without first phoning Head Bailiff, Roy Parsons, who will be checking the situation on a daily basis.
THE NEW 2003 BROCHURE WILL BE READY IN EARLY FEBRUARY AND WE ARE NOW OUT OF 2002 COPIES. IF YOU HAVE ORDERED A BROCHURE IN THE LAST THREE WEEKS AND HAVEN’T RECEIVED ONE YOU WILL BE RECEIVING A COPY OF THE NEW ONE AS SOON AS WE HAVE THEM.
