The Return of the Piking Pirate

Gord Burton, ex professional boxer turned professional predator hunter is an eccentric but likeable character who can talk the hind leg off a donkey.

In these two videos (or DVD’s) Gord, who always flies the Jolly Roger flag on his boat ‘Creek Chub’ and is therefore known as The Piking Pirate, goes in search of pike in Scotland and Cumbria.

In Part 1 Gord, along with his young son Walker, sets sail on lovely Loch Ken, which is not so lovely on this occasion, with wind and rain battering the pair as they battle it out for three days in atrocious conditions.

But they come good and catch pike with a variety of methods.

In Part Two they tackle Lake Windermere in the Lake District and this time the weather is bitterly cold. They fail on the first trip but then return to make up for it with spectacular results.
