From the very first episode the BBC sports quiz show ‘They Think it’s all Over’ has been one of my favourite programmes. I like sports and I like a good laugh and this show combines both in an irreverent way that has me in stitches.

Especially funny is the ‘Feel the Sportsmen’ bit where two members of each team have to wear blindfolds and then feel their way round a celebrity sportsman, sportswoman, or sometimes a whole team and guess who they are.
This week’s episode, Friday, 16th January, BBC1, 9.30pm, has a larger than usual angling content. Hosted by angling fanatic Nick Hancock and featuring keen angler David Seaman, this weeks guests include Chris Tarrant and the World Champion England Ladies Team, including the individual champion Sandra Scotthorne.
If you haven’t already seen the show then tune in this week and watch it; you won’t be disappointed. Regulars on the show, as well as host Nick Hancock, are Jonathon Ross, David Seaman, Rory McGrath and Phil Tufnell. The two guests in this Friday’s show are ‘Who Wants to be a Millionaire host Chris Tarrant and swimming World Champion, Katy Sexton.
And did you know that the producer of the show, as well as other top BBC programmes, is a long-standing member of FISHINGmagic and often posts on the forum?
So don’t forget – ‘They Think It’s All Over’, this Friday, 16th Jan, BBC1, 9.30pm.
