Thinking Tackle Episodes 3 & 4We have finally finished the filming of Episodes 3 & 4 of ‘ThinkingTackle’. To say there was a contrast in the two episodes would be an understatement.
Episode 3 was filmed on Walthamstow 2 & 3 in minus 8 wind chill easterlies! The special guest angler fishing with Dan on this occasion was Nick Helleur, as you can imagine it’s a ‘tactics’ packed episode supplemented by some fishing that Team Korda did at Maison de lac Bleu in France where we caught loads of 50’s and 40’s, so tune in if you want to see some huge leviathans! Chris Cockerell at Sky has been the usual legend that he is and has secured some fantastic viewing times so check the schedule information below for detailed listings. Episode 4 on the other hand was a ‘huge’ success fishing wise. This was filmed at the Carp Society’s Horseshoe lake and a couple of days before we got there, a great band of awesome ‘Carpy’ weather set in, with good westerlies and a portion of sunlight which pushed a number of fish into summer bay.
The ‘awesome’ Gareth Fareham joins Dan on the bank for the 3 day ‘shoot’ and they catch some absolute ‘gems’ at Horseshoe. Once again you will be able to see them getting caught, exactly what they used and how they caught them. Don’t miss either episode.
