RMC Angling’s Ryemeads fishery in Royden, Herts, has been in marvellous form for big tench recently and the venue record has been broken three times in quick succession with three doubles to 10lb 3oz.
The Ryemeads tench are currently coming out at a very high average size with the majority of the fish over 8lb in weight with plenty around the 8lb 12oz mark.
The top catch to a single angler so far has been 12 fish to 9lb 2oz in a morning session.
