Trout in the Classroom UK – New Sponsorship Deal

Allan Suttie’s acclaimed Trout in the Classroom U.K. project is proud to announce two new supporters.

They are the highly regarded collectables company ADAM BINDER EDITIONS in Cirencester and a leading collectables retailer THE CLOTHES RAIL in Bromsgrove.

Adam Binder, who is inspired by wildlife and specialises in sculpting all sorts of animals and creatures, on hearing of Trout in the Classroom U.K.’s work in schools from the proprietors of The Clothes Rail, kindly offered to design and create a cold cast bronze dedicated to Trout in the Classroom’s work.

As a result Adam has designed a bronze timed edition piece depicting two turning brown trout fry. This piece will be available from April for a 12 month period and for each piece sold Trout in the Classroom U.K. will receive £ 10 towards purchasing further micro hatcheries to install into schools.

Karen and Anita, self acclaimed “Loopy Ladies”, who are the proprietors of The Clothes Rail are delighted that Adam has supported this cause and are so taken themselves by the Trout in the Classroom concept that anyone one ordering any item of their stock “on line” and indicating they wish to support the project will lead to 10% of the value of the order being donated to the project. They are so keen about the project that they are actively recruiting for more schools to get involved!

“I cannot thank Adam or the Loopy Ladies enough” says Allan Suttie “they have all been so very generous and what they have done is absolutely brilliant. I know Adam, Karen and Anita are very keen to get their local schools involved in the project and I am looking forward to the day in the near future when I we’ve got those schools involved. I must say that those angler’s amongst us with long suffering partners should, when the need arises, purchase any gifts or presents for them “on line” and that way not only treat their partners to something nice but also get the chance to contribute in some way to improving our sport. With all these extra hatcheries the fish bought on by them will have to go somewhere! “.

The Trout in the Classroom piece is to be officially launched at The Clothes Rail, Bromsgrove, in April and Adam, Karen and Anita will be joined by Professor David Bellamy to assist at the launch. Professor Bellamy, who is President of Trout in the Classroom U.K. is looking forward to visiting Bromsgrove and spending the day promoting such a good cause.
