| Venue record barbel from Fishers Green East London based carpenter, Terry Ettridge, set a new barbel record at our Fishers Green venue on the River Lea recently by banking the fish pictured here at 14lb 14oz.
It beats the old venue record by only 2oz, but with the fish well up in weight at this time of year, and in superb condition, who knows what’s to come. Terry offered Bacon Grill to tempt the beast and caught the river as it was fining down, one of the most productive times to catch barbel. Visit RMC’s web site at |
