Robert Williams Moore netted one of 42lb 6ozs. This fish was caught on Ebro Valley Angling Fishmeal Special boilies from the Ebro and was part of a 800lb catch which included other fish to 39lb 12ozs. The second fish was caught two days later from the same area on halibut pellet by Heiko Winter and weighed 44lbs 8ozs.
Heiko also went on to catch a further five fish over 30lbs. The pictures included show both fish plus a brace of thirties caught by Heiko on session two.
The winter carp fishing is outstanding at the moment and Ebro Valley Angling is offering low cost winter carp fishing breaks throughout November, December, January, and February. The catfishing kicks in again in March and judging by last year’s results we can expect fast and furious action from then onwards.
