With the fewest entries of all of the months the final round of the writing competition saw just three entries up for consideration and, once again, the judging panel agreed with the forum consensus and so Andy Scholey takes the prize for his light-hearted tale of angling time travel.
With all of the monthly heats of the competition now complete all winners will be considered for the top prize of a bait sponsorship with Chapel Baits.
As with the monthly rounds we shall be seeking the opinion of FishingMagic members to assist with the judging decision. Voting is now live on the forum and the overall winner will be announced on Sunday 01 July. It may not be the Greek election, or indeed the Egyptian one, and the future of the Euro or democracy as we know it is not at stake but your vote counts and it would be nice to see a higher turnout than for your typical by-election on a wet Thursday, or indeed than we have seen in the last few months of this competition.
