well i'm planning my 1st outing on sat 13th january (weather permitting).my mate works mon-fri and has only weekends off and has no transport.planning a pole session on maggots for the silvers.not been fishing since september due to looking after grandkids and heavy works roster.probably be raker lakes nr york which is my mates favourite venue and somewhere he feels comfortable fishing.

I might be out on NYD too. We have a 'we' Sunday planned for tomorrow, visiting an old town and walking the dog and Monday is wifey's preferred house cleaning day so I might get turfed out - hopefully

I hope to be out on the 2nd or 3rd at the earliest. I can't go on the 1st, but I doubt the river will be in a fit state to go anyway.
