Hi, I am an avid pike fisherman from South Ayrshire.
I am always looking for the elusive 20lb + specimen pike locations. I would much appreciate any information regarding decent pike fishing locations within South ayrshire and the Dumfries and Galloway locations.
I usually fish clatteringshaws loch. I was there yesterday on Friday the 4th of November. This was because we had decided to try a new location loch stroan. The forest roads were blocked and we decided to fall back on clatteringshaws loch.
Can anyone give any advice, information on pike lochs in that area. Loch Woodhall, Mosedale loch, stroan loch, loch ken. I don't mind a hike if its worth it. I bank fish using dead bait. Any help to make me plan my next trip would be helpful. Ps my friend caught a nice 14lb pike next to the dam wall.
