They may not contain anti-coagulants, but any wounds inflicted do bleed more than similar scratches inflicted by say brambles. It could be that the hand is often wet in these circumstances and the blood spreads out more. The bleeding does also seem to go on longer too, possibly for the same reason.

As you say Ray, water mixed with blood spreads further and so a cut may seem worse than it actually is. Also, it takes far longer for blood to clot in cold conditions, which is common when fishing for Pike.

Yes. You 'enjoyed' the thread without comment until Sogster made his post. Then we get a word for word response lifted from the Internet with no credit given to the authors of the articles that you have quoted.

I never once looked at the internet . The response was entirely my own and within my own knowledge. I didn’t need to look at google. I did not look at any articles on google or anywhere. What I said was obvious in my view. I supported Sogster.I know you think you know everything but you plainly do not. What a snide pompous ass you are.
