A few years ago I won a reel from an old fishing forum that no longer exists, and I’ve kept it in my holiday static caravan for using at a small pond which has some smallish Carp in it; which is only about 100 mtrs from my static holiday caravan.
I have never heard of the make of reel (FRISK) and I realise that it isn’t going to be an expensive reel, but it has 7 bearings (6+1) and it seems to be not too bad a reel at all in use; although I’ve only used it now and then when I’ve been at the caravan; and It’s line lay is quite good too.
I’m not too keen on its wooden handle knob though
I’ve often wondered about this reel (see pic) and where it originates from, so I just want to ask if any of you know about this make of reel and what country it originates from?
