i have been fishing at Cleveley Bridge nr Garstang. I caught Roach,Rudd, Bream and Perch....no Carp yet.
Bait was Chopped worm and Red Maggot.

Border Fisheries, Betley, Nr Crewe, Cheshire. Had 25lb from there on the pole last Friday. Look out for a picture-feature about the place on this site in the next day or two. And we're doing a picture-feature on there in Coarse Fisherman magazine (rod and line fishing) in the near future.

I fished Bradshaw fisheries in Bolton for roach on sunday, there was a match on the opposite bank, most fished pole for carp I saw a few caught, one took 30 minutes on a fours elastic (about 8lb from what I could see). A young lad next to me had a couple to about four, (cupped grounbait, caster and pellet, hookbait) me, I nailed the roach up in the water, 60 fish for about 16-17lb on good old maggots!. I don't tend to fish match carp lakes but praise where it's due, I had a top sesh!
