Interesting, very interesting. No I didn't know. Perhaps he is blessed with golden round things but, he had a huge blank when he came out with me the other week. But don't tell anyone coz I promised i wouldn't say.

No Tilman, not boilies. It's known in England as David Beckham syndrome. A few poor deluded souls suffer from this ailment for which there is only one known cure. When the jammy little sod catches a bigger fish than you, you have to throw them in the river. Apparently the sudden temp. change has the desired effect on these golden round things (they shrink back into the body). Whilst this is only a temp. cure it sure as heck makes me feel better!!

I don't have golden boillies . I have golden fake corn. The crayfish are a problem not an excuse and finding the carp is part of the challenge .

The rules are simple. you have to catch a 15lb or over Carp from the pound which my boat is moored between march 14 and June 15. You have to retain a sence of humour at all times, even when the crayfish have eaten all your bait! lol. That's it. Any method any bait any time. Just so you know I have had at least 20 different fish over the15lb mark so this is not impossible, just quite difficult.

The pound is from 3 pigeons lock to bakers lock.

At least I have small area to deal with, that helps with baiting and planning.
