I'll be there Sunday, and Ron, if I can borrow tweed attire, I'll be wearing it!

The smart visitor (or tightwads - depending on your viewpoint) will go to Chatsworth in the morning, ticket in advance to save money, free parking too, and then shoot round to Climax Tackle, Dronfield (10 minutes away), where Tony Flint will be hosting an open day at the shop.

No admission charge, meet Alan Scotthorne and Jan Porter, indulge in a free barbecue and get this - A FREE BAR!!!!!!

Really - FREE BEER and WINE.

You don't even have to buy anything.

Not sure, maybe someone else might shed some light on that score.

Sadly no pole dancers either.

By ek Bob you drive a fast car. Ten mins by helicopter maybe but Chatsworth to Climax is about half an hour in real travel time.

Worth a visit though.

"bespoke sports jacket"??

Are we talking "Harris Tweed" here,or something similar??

My Dad has a "Harris Tweed" jacket he`s had it since i was a kid it still fits him and looks as good as the day he bought it,he`s always going on about it,"the best jacket i`ve ever bought"...he says!!!!!!!

I`d never heard of Harris Tweed till he showed me the label a few years ago!!!

Must admit not my style but its definatly a quality jacket!!

At least I don't look like a Scouser!

Harris Tweed is hand woven in the Outer Hebrides. It's a coarse cloth that is ideal for country wear. The cloth itself will last for many years. Genuine Harris Tweed has an orb mark. The problem is that today it's not put together properly unless you can find a decent bespoke tailor who will do it for you by hand. Machine stitching is weak and crap, but that's all that people can afford today.

The term "bespoke" comes from an English word that means "spoken for". It also means, "made to measure". Anything that is truly bespoke is also unique to the person who owns it. You can possess a bespoke motorcar or fishing rod.

Bespoke clothes cost a lot of money.

George Bush has all his suits hand made for him in Savile Row London by the way, by two very exclusive tailors. It works out at about ?5500 a chuck. Added to that is the cost of getting a top class cutter over to the USA to measure him.

I have heard that Blair uses the same people.

Quality tailoring is a dying art in England. People these days have less disposable income than they did 30 years ago.
