I don't know what Guru are marketing those as but that point looks at least sixty degrees short of a circle hook imo...

Yea I can see what yer saying Steve, don't know why Guru and Preston both market what they call circle hooks when they look nothing like a true circle hook and to be honest are pretty much inferior

If anything they look hardly any different from just short shank wide gape hooks that have a swept point, not that much different from a kamasan b560 wide gape swept point
I've specialised in Thames estuary bass fishing along some of me local low water marks because there simply within walking distance and have been using circle hooks on and off for the best part of 20 years now and these are proper true circle hooks,
Not like what Guru and Preston have brought out because the overall percentage of the bend has somewhat been drastically lost
This is why in me first post I stated that I'm not holding me breath because I've not yet found anything for coarse fishing that resembles what I'd call a true circle hook
