Hi there everyone, can anyone out there please give me some advice about my coleman powerhouses, i bought them about 6 years ago and after numerous trips and have never been cleaned/serviced, needless to say they have started to play up, when i light them, they don`t seem to burn for long before they start spluttering with what appears to be lack of pressure, do they need a good clean-out/service or are the years of abuse finaly caught up with me, if they can be serviced, any advice on how to do this would be greatly appreciated.

Hi mate,
i would think that the problem is very likely to be tha t you need to replace the generator. This has gone on mine in the past. It is very easy to swap to a new one.
The cause of premature wear is usually low quality fuel, but if you have ran them for six years then you are using decent fuel.

Cheers(hope this helps)

Location
portsmouth
most camping shops will sell them and so will some tackle shops.

if you find a good shop they might even service them.
