Rik, didn’t see the Horton Weavers at Accrington Folk Club but our lass and I went to see them at Kendal about two years ago. Also saw Paul Simon at Accrington folk club before he was famous.

I agree great band saw them on several occasions in the 70's. Gerry Kearns was my old Geology teacher.
Funny you mention them as I was asking about them when in Rochdale over Xmas, meant to be still doing the rounds although they have another mandolin player as Gerry's brother's health ain't to good.
