I'm ashamed to say this but I actually bought a couple of drinks in the pub. I still haven't got over it.

It was a great day though, one of the best, and reminded me what a joy stickfloat fishing is, being as I haven't done any for a couple of years.

Highlight of the day was when John's daughter ran for a run on paul's rod, flattening me and Paul on the way. If you think a stampede of cattle could be bad you ain't seen nothin'!

Many thanks to John for organising a memorable fish-in. He might be old (very old) but he got this one right. Top man! Can't wait for the next one.

Met Mick Howson as well, and he isn't half as grumpy as he looks.

Well guys and gals...sounds like you had a fantastic time....why do I have to live sooooo far away *sniff* I had to promise Wendy though to come up north for a weekend to go fishing together....maybe Wendy can show me how to catch pike than.....

Does anyone on here fish for zander? Another target of mine, sadly we haven't got any zan waters here down south, hence another good excuse to travel oooop north hehe

You must try to make the next one, maybe you can be Grahams FM adopted daughter.
I have my work cut out with my daughter Wendy but she is a good gal and she is coming grayling fishing with me and Graham and that will be a good day.

Graham took that photo,he said it was time i showed my age and needed a new image.
Honestly think the real reason was my old photo showed my good looks and Graham being the old coffin dodger he is pulled a fast one.
Jealousy and envy are a terrible affliction that one must try and live with .
Rumour has it Grahams wife wanted to trade him in for a new coat
