Lough Ree International Pike Festival 17th - 19th April 2013

Hi lads just to let you know that entries are now being taken for this years Lough Ree International Pike festival which will take place from the 17th to 19th April.
All the rules around the fishing are the same as last year and the entry fee is also still the same at €100 per angler for the three days or €40 per angler for one day and the first prize of €3000 is also still in place and will be awarded to the angler who catches the longest pike over the three days and remember there must be at least two anglers in the boat. If you use the link below you will be able to download last years prize list and this years one should be something similar.

There are a couple of aministrative changes this year which need to be noted;

1. The festival will be limited to 80 boats and entries will be taken on a first come first served basis.
2. All entry fees must be received, STRICTLY, on or before April 10th 2013

Hi Lads, as you know this year's competition is limited to 80 boats and as of this evening there are 42 fully paid up boats, so if you are thinking of entering then you probably need to do so soon. Entry forms, rules etc can be found at Lough Ree Pike Festival & World Cup - Active Irish Angling
