This is what you need for beachcasting on the tidal Flight.' They only do up to 6oz so you might have to double up šŸ˜„

Here are some of mine Cliveā€”some of the heavy ones go to 8 and nine ounces but in some swims they can still be pulled around 90 degrees to my rod.
I do like the rolled flat hand painted leads, simple to knock up and just as good as shop bought jobs, I have them from one ounce to nine ounce depending on my swim choice.

When you thought it was safe to get back in the water.

I was racking my brains when I saw this (doesn't take much) as I remembered a few of us being given something similar during a breakfast before Clattercote many years ago. Much scratching of heads couldn't work out what it was then maybe we know now.....

I was given a feeder when I was in Thailand earlier in the year. It had three hooklinks which were baited with polystyrene balls. It was a method feeder and as the natives eat everything they catch, and the only way the fish can tell that the balls are inedible is to mouth them they only get the one chance to learn.

The method feeder was developed on one of my club waters, Hever Castle lake, I think it was called theā€Emstat Feederā€ and was mainly developed with bream in mind.

I bet he is having second thoughts about his little wheeze and itā€™s commercial viability.
