I Found Attaching a Lanyard Will Protect Your Camera From Accidents!
This is by far one of the best products i've ever used while filming out in the field. You attach the included floating "back piece" inside your favorite hat as the brace in case your hat falls in the water. Once done that brace gives rigidity to your hat & your GoPro won't sink if you're in or around water. I also attach a lanyard to my hat so in case i look down my unit will never reach the ground. This review will let you see for yourself that "upper" angled view.
Since this came out other accessory straps have been introduced from chest to shoulder & wrist mounting straps. One of my best investments i've ever made. Been using this unit on every outing since installed.
