Looking forward to this fish-in.....One word of advice everyone....start scouring your local supermarkets NOW for any fish you can get your hands on.....mack,sardines,herring....They will be in short supply due to delivery issues over xmas.

If I recall last year I was fishing with some seriously minging deadbaits around this time!

Ill be bringing my deadbait gear so anyone wanting to use it grab me at the start!

I'm travelling down with Pikey Paul and we are staying over with friends in the city to the north of the river (not sure how specific to be given the secret venue). It will be no hassle for us to share taxis etc. And hopefully we'll be joinedat the evening do by my girlfriend Gilly, her sister and her sister's fella.

If the stretch is in flood and not very conducive to predators, what are our options? (Any dead arms around or other species to target?) Or will we be moving onto a canal/ stillwater? Just want to know what kit/ bait to bring.
