I don't understand why you can't buy our native prawns either live or frozen in tackle shops. I've even made enquiries about getting some from the local fisherman but they only seem interested in selling them cooked to the local fishmongers.
In the States you can buy them in almost every tackle shop and they've got to be one the best baits ever. What sea fish species doesn't eat them? Very, very few I'd imagine.
