hi, iam looking to buy a 12 to 20lb class rod. could any one help there are lots out there BUT WHAT TYPE. to chooes from, i am going (hopefully) for sea bream as well as good sport. thanks
Keith if you are just after sea bream you can not beat using a power float rod as used for carp or tench. If you need the extra power the Penn do some good deals including reel.

thanks for the info i will have a look at penn rods. its for some light sea fishing to see if my skill is the same(NAFF)but i do like the chalange.

you'd have to go some to beat a shakespear ugly stick, have a look at poingdestres site and veals site, they have the full range between the 2 of them i think.
there are about 4 ranges of ugly stick to suit each budget.
