Sufix InvisiLine Castable Fluorocarbon Fishing Mainline!

Sufix are (certainly were and i'm not sure if they've changed hands as it's a long. long time since i've spoken with Jeff Rothstein) a US brand. The lines are/were actually made in Chang Hua, Taiwan and also southern China (Shenzhen). I started buying from them way back in 1997 and visited them several times (I don't miss the journey to their factory in Taiwan as it was a bit of a slog). The Wang family are/were really nice people. The problem was Rapala. Once the Taiwanese were all part of that group they dropped their OEM customers like a hot potato so I had to do my research & travel and find a suitable alternative who, nicely, turned out better, easier to deal with, reliable, consistent etc. Then after a short time Rapala (Italy as it happened, everything had to go through there) came back knocking (obviously dropping their OEM customers didn't work out as planned) but that horse had bolted. Far too late. They did have some very good lines (original ESP Carp Mono was one as was the original Super Specialist) as well as braids & coated braids but things move on, other line producers (actual producers not respoolers) advance and things are now very different.

I feel this needs addressing as if you don't like the regular posters on-site maybe increase your own posting to help break the monopoly, I'd be glad to read them, as I for one am bored tireless of a review page that is a constant stream of reviews is from one
'angler' and as Clive alluded to it is nigh on impossible to give a review unless you have used something for a few months, most every time you fish, which can't be being done, you can post I've bought something and on first impressions it looks good, but then the proof is in the eating....

Back to Sufix, herculine (or was as i dont know if they make it now) is a great hooklenth material, don't know about a reel line, the lines I used/ and still have some are lovely looking, smooth lines, that lay perfectly on the spool, but for some reason don't cast well, diameters are very good, they would probably be OK with a lead or lure, but with a float were poor, that was in 3-4-6-8lbs b.s., shame really as I quite liked the line for playing fish...

He would find it difficult to increase his posting on fishing matters as that would lead to him being discovered as being someone else. So he sticks to making a few snide comments which funnily enough is the reason for him not officially being on here, if you get my drift?
