To those who have fished Blue Pool before a few questions for the benefit of those who have not fished the venue before.

1) What facilities are there, like a toilet for example?

2) Is water readily available for a brew or do we need to bring a supply with us?

3) Is it a long hike from the car park to the swims (for those without a barrow), or can you park near your swims, or can you drop stuff off before parking up in the car park?

4) Are the swims a decent size for getting the bivvies in?

5) Would a pod be preferable to banksticks, Frothey seemed to suggest earlier the swims would be boggy or alternatively baked hard.?

Any more info along these lines I am sure would be appreciated by all.

4. Your swim is of the highest standard and is 5 star.

5.They have builders on site ready to assemble whatever you need.

1: toilet in car park. mcdonalds, burger king, pizza hut and an indian are all onsite
2: lake full of water
3: depends if you're fit or not. no you cant
4: some are, some arent
5: not all swims are boggy, not all are baked hard. some are inbetween. depending on time of year and climatic conditions.

Thanks Frothey, I know the lake is full of water, but I assume there is a tap for clean water for drinking.

Also for putting in my tin bath, as this trip coincides with my annual bath.

Thanks Wol, if only it were true!
