I found this site earlier today, seems quite a comprehensive series looking at river and lake carp fishing through the year. Plenty of tackle info though they obviously steer the reader towards their own tackle range.
You will need Google Translate unless you have fluent french! I started with the river article, but when you reach the bottom right a link to the next article appears....
edit, just realised there is a language selection on their top header!
Great for beginners but there should be something there for everyone.
