Due to family commitments one of the anglers has had to pull out, Paul Floyd will be taking his place.
We also hope to have a 4th angler in reserve who will be travelling with us to cover tiredness etc
All donation details are on our poster below should some of you wish to sponsor or donate between now and then

Cheers
Jerry

Just to bring you all up to date, the boys started on the 8th they've had a double from the Ribble and early today a double from the Goyt.

12 rivers to go and still plenty of time to give a pledge/donation for ABF The Soldiers Charity

It's a new team by the way Jerry is still running it with Paul Floyd, Baz Fisher had to drop out but Dave Chambers and Phil Smith have joined in.

Jerry and Paul are probably already on the Dove where they are joining Phil.

Thanks binka

It's going to work out expensive for one or two who doubted the ability of the team to catch doubles, but the charity will certainly benefit. :)

Each double was worth £90 at last count. 10 doubles out of 6 rivers.....so far

Not for the want of trying but I haven't seen a barbel from the three bits of the Loddon I know since early July! The upper river is very low, slow paced and incredibly reedy/weedy. The devils are in there but as far as I'm concerned, no-one has told them they're supposed to be easy southern fish. :)

It's been an incredible start to their efforts, hopefully they will continue and crack what is currently a difficult river.

Just a thought: if the Southern barbel won't play, get the Army (Aldershot's not far) to supply a few hand grenades. Sorted, as some sorts say.

PS - I can lend them some of my portable PB electro-gear (it works on flyfishers) if they're absolutely desperate.

Sorry for the late update been on a TAA Fish-in!

The lads didn't latch on to a double on the Loddon, so that makes two rivers out of the 14 have failed them.

The Kennet produced 3 doubles 10lb10ozs, 10lb 11ozs and an 11lb 9oz fish.
They are currently on the Colne.

Total 13 doubles off 9 rivers...so far.

Donations still welcome.
For clarity the pledges for a double from each river is just that.(So far 7)
If you want to pledge an amount for each double caught during the 14 days, then that can also be done.
All donations big or small are most welcome.

They found one barbel on the Loddon Neil!!

Anyone know what the final amount of money raised was excluding any expenses?

Cheers
