Here?s my take on this- I don?t know Mick personally never met him, but have followed his writings in CF for over ten years. In all the writings I?ve read, he seems a genuine guy and a gifted angler, who thinks about his fishing deeply and isn?t frightened to pioneer and discover good swims. The old saying ?put the time, thought and dedication in and reap the rewards!?
I seem to remember he is a fireman or was, and given this, he would work shift patterns most of us would love, 3 shifts on, 4 off or similar.
Based on what I?ve read of his writings, I would fully accept that he has caught the number of fish he says he has.
Turning to your criticism of him, it strikes me from your postings so far, you?re on a fishing expedition for information on the Wharfe, and picked criticism of Mike as the vehicle to get it.
If that was your purpose, then that is wrong and not the way to do it on this site.
People on here are quite free with the information they holed and will give it if asked for in a proper manner, even Tony Rocca
It?s a joke Tony, so get back in your pram!
OK in bad taste I know but???????
So perhaps you start another thread along the lines of?. I would like some info on the Wharfe please1 and see where that takes you.
