Friday 16th JULY and Saturday 17th JULY



Have just confirmed with the owner Alan, 30 odd swims for the Fish-in, i'm sure if in the next day or two we get a couple more it wont be a problem.

Marsden will get first choice of swim, which i'm dead sure will be car park swim. Some swims you can park behind!

Alan has said he has no problem with us doing a BBQ on the Saturday night.

The swims you can park behind will be reserved for the old and infirm:D
Theres appx 10of them outher swims allhave easy access, the banks are clean and tidy,no mud, you may get a bit of sand in your shoes in places.
That time of year theres usually over the last few years been guite a lot of Canadian pondweed, but shouldnt present that big a problem.

The water originally started off as a trout fishery (a long time ago) then PAAS when they got it, stocked it heavily as a match water, over time they gave it up, now its gone back to its natural state, not been stocked in the last 20 years that i know of, I once found a perch dead on there that must have been 20lb ok 4 1/2lb, so i would assume theres some very big ones still, that was about 10 years ago,theres quite a lot of smallish pike in, but no big ones have come out to my knowledge

Oh right then Peter, you can go in the swim nearest the toilets in case of unforseen circumstances, obviously you have the same problems as Marsden and Bibby,so i think it's for the best

You can also if you wish, par-take in Nurse Cratchets ministrations as she will be coming with them, not to fish you understand, so Wol dont book a place for her, but she will be attending the bbq, and as Miss Cratchet, always wears seamed nylons and high heels, this doesnt mean she's easy, so let's not have any embaressing moments:D

Wol, kindly put me down as a deffo, i'll pay all fee's etc: if near the date health circumstances dictate, my money will pay for someone else, (as long as its not Mr Bibby).
